Special bus and train services are to be implemented tomorrow (17) for the public returning after celebrating the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival. 

The National Transport Commission (NTC) announced that measures are being taken to add buses to the service today (16). 

Accordingly, buses are scheduled to operate according to the normal schedule today.

The Department of Railways also stated office train services are planned to operate as normal, while several special trains will be added to the service from tomorrow to meet the needs of people returning from their hometowns.
