The Annual golfing encounter between the brotherly schools Thurstan and Isipathana Colleges was held on 12 March 2023 at the picturesque Royal Colombo Golf Club.

Isipathana College, synonymous with Rugby, demonstrated their supremacy over their arch rivals of Thurstan College at the 6 Annual encounter between the two schools. With this outstanding victory, Isipathana college takes the lead in tally with 3 wins while Thurstan College have 2 with last years’ edition ending in a draw. 

The most outstanding three cards of the tournament were from Isipathana College; Rosana Prasad, Neroy Marso and captain Ravi Liyanage himself leading from the front. The best gross winner was Rosana Prasad with gross 73, Neroy Marso being the net winner. Rosan Prasad of Isipathana College had an outstanding tournament also winning the longest drive whilst Pandula Kuruppu of Thurstan College winning the closest to the pin. 

Thurstan College was led by former Captain Milinda Ratnayake who had in his ranks Noel Joseph, Sumedha Amerasinghe, Harendra de Silva, Chaminda Prabath, Sunil Jayakody Pandula Kuruppu, Bingumal Thewathanthri, Chamikara, Thushara Rupesinghe, and Lakshman Sumathipala. 

Isipathana College was led by versatile corporate leader Ravi Liyanage supported by Anura Somaratne, Brigadier Nanda Hathurusinghe, Anura Wimalaratne, Mervin Preena, Roshana Samaranayake, Kishan Serasinghe, Chamara Dayararne, Ajith Kulasinghe, Faiz Omar, Laki Wickremasinghe, Saman Manchanayake, Neroy Marso, Himal Randhima , Sooriya Perera in their ranks.
