The Jaffna University Teachers’ Union began a strike, halting all lectures across faculties.

Accordingly, the union cites 5 key demands, with the primary issue being the administration’s failure to address undisciplined behavior of students in the Arts Faculty.

The union has vowed to continue their protest until their concerns are resolved.
