Sri Lanka welcomed 846,221 tourists as of 20 April, 2025, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported. 

In April alone, 123,945 visitors arrived. 

India topped the source markets with 24,776 tourists, followed by the UK (14,060), Russia (10,873), and Germany (9,387).
