Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara has placed the deposit on behalf of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa to contest the 2024 Presidential election. 

Premadasa becomes the sixth candidate to officially enter the race for the presidency.
