The Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) Cyber Crimes Division has arrested two suspects for a cryptocurrency fraud involving Bitcoin and Ethereum worth Rs. 230 million.

The suspects, a 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman from Pannipitiya, allegedly ran the scam through social media.

They were granted bail with two sureties of Rs. 5 million each but remain under a travel ban as investigations continue.
