Sri Lanka’s overall inflation rate rose to -1.9% in March 2025 from -3.9% in February, according to the Department of Census and Statistics. 

Food inflation increased to 0.8%, while non-food inflation eased slightly to -4.1%. 

The National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) for March stood at 206.0, with a slight drop of 0.2 points from February.
