A 16-year-old was reportedly killed after a mound of earth collapsed on a house in the Wathuliyadda area in Medamahanuwara.
According to Police, the incident had occurred early this morning (20), following heavy rainfall in the region.
The injured minor had been immediately hospitalised by the locals, where he succumbed to his injuries upon admission.
