The Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Asanka Karawita has been appointed as Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID), effective 12 February.
