State Minister of Finance, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, announced that a budget geared towards addressing immediate challenges while laying the groundwork for long-term prosperity in Sri Lanka will be presented to parliament tomorrow (13).
Speaking at the Finance Ministry today (12), the State Minister stressed that this budget is not crafted for short-term popularity or electoral gain.
Instead, it aims to provide sustainable solutions to current issues and establish a robust foundation for the nation's future growth.
Siyambalapitiya underlined the commitment to presenting a comprehensive program designed to prevent any economic downturn, emphasising the budget's strategic vision for long-term economic stability.
Addressing the issue of foreign debt restructuring, Siyambalapitiya expressed optimism, urging unity among the people to overcome challenges without relying on temporary solutions.
