Danny Boyle's upcoming film, 28 Years Later, is set to make history as the largest movie ever filmed using smartphones. 

This $75 million zombie thriller, shot with modified iPhone 15 Pro Max cameras, serves as a sequel to the iconic 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. 

Starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, the film showcases a significant technological advancement, reminiscent of Boyle's innovative techniques in the original film, which was shot with a Canon XL-1 camcorder. 

28 Years Later is scheduled for release in June 2025, with plans for additional films in the trilogy.
