The inaugural meeting of the Board of Governors of the Central Cultural Fund (CCF), chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya, was held at the PM’s Office on 30 January.
The meeting focused on issues such as financial accountability, staff recruitment, training opportunities, and improving infrastructure for tourists visiting cultural heritage sites.
Accordingly, board also agreed to engage with relevant institutions to enhance tourism services and ensure the conservation of cultural heritage sites.
Minister of Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, Deputy Minister Gamagedara Dissanayake, and other senior officials participated in the meeting.
