The Heat Index is expected to rise to ‘Caution’ level in several provinces tomorrow (22), the Department of Meteorology warns. 

Residents in the Northern, North-Central, North-Western, Western, Southern, and Eastern provinces, as well as Ratnapura and Monaragala districts, are advised to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities, and monitor vulnerable individuals. 

Prolonged exposure may cause fatigue or heat cramps.
