Visitors S. Thomas’ College outclassed and outsmarted their archrivals Royal College in all departments with a thumping 66-49 victory at the 19th annual Royal-Thomian Rt. Hon. D.S. Senanayake Challenge Cup encounter played at the Royal Complex on Friday (4) evening before a jam-packed audience.
Talismanic sporting star Yehan ‘Bula’ Bulathsinghalage bid adieu to his Thomian sporting career in style after captaining both basketball and rugby outfits this year. Yehan marshalled his troops like a warrior as the ‘School by the Sea’ made it a back-to-back win with last year’s triumph. Incidentally, STC won in both 2023 and 2024 with a 17-point lead.
