Five people have sustained injuries following an accident this morning (12) at the Makumbura Multimodal Center (MMC).
The incident took place when a private bus attempting to enter the MMC experienced brake failure.
The injured passengers have been transported to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL).
The accident caused considerable damage to the facility, and the driver of the bus has been arrested, as confirmed by the police.
