Sri Lanka Railways has halted third-class seat reservations on select trains, converting these compartments into regular third-class carriages.

Affected trains include:

 Colombo Fort – Badulla (5:55 a.m. & 8:30 a.m.)

Colombo Fort – Talaimannar (3:45 p.m.)

To compensate, the number of second-class reserved seats has been increased, providing an alternative for passengers.
