Allied Health Sciences graduates and the Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) will stage a protest in Colombo on Thursday (24), demanding the shutdown of unregulated institutions offering health-related degrees.

They argue that these "degree shops" endanger lives, lower healthcare standards, and undermine state university qualifications.

The protest calls for strict action against unregulated private degree programs, with students and graduates from across the country expected to join.
