Ministers Bimal Rathnayake and Nalinda Jayatissa assumed their duties in the Parliament during the inaugural session of the 10th Parliament today (21).
The duo were appointed as the new Leader of the House and the Chief Government Whip respectively on Tuesday (19).
Apart from the aforementioned duties, Minister Rathnayake also serves as the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, while Minister Jayatissa serves as the Minister of Health and Mass Media.
