The Ministry of Tourism and Aviation in a letter addressed to Pathirage has appointed him as the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of the national carrier.

Ashok Pathirage is the Chairman/CEO of  Softlogic Holdings PLC and heads several other major business entities in the country.
