Czech Republic player Barbora Krejčíková, who won French Open women’s singles title on Saturday (12), partnered compatriot Katerina Siniakova to win the duo’s third Grand Slam doubles crown on Sunday, yesterday (13), beating Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Iga Swiatek 6-4, 6-2.
Krejčíková thus became the first woman to win both singles and doubles titles in the French Open since France’s Mary Pierce who achieved the feat in 2000.
