A three-judge bench of High Court Judges has acquitted Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake, former Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran and Perpetual Treasury owner Arjun Aloysius of 11 of the 22 charges against them in connection with the bond scam case.
Gamini Marapana PC who appeared for the accused party at the commencement of the trial, made this announcement just after the verdict was given today (06).
The three member bench consisted of Judges Amal Ranaraja, Namal Balalle and Aditya Patabendi, who collectively passed the order.
