The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) questioned singer Amal Perera on the Presidential assassination plot. Perera had been arrested in Dubai and deported to Sri Lanka recently. Police  sources said that he was summoned before the CID today to be questioned on the VIP assassination plot after his name was linked to the probe.
