• Mahela Jayawardene was appointed Consultant Coach of the Men’s, U-19, and “A” teams for a period of one year, from 1 January 2022

• Naveed Nawaz’s appointment is for two years, effective from 1 April 2022

• Anton Roux’s appointment as national Fielding Coach is effective from 7 March 2022

• Chaminda Vaas, Piyal Wijetunge, and Manoj Abeywickrama are to work with the national team during the upcoming Bangladesh Test tour

• Appointments on Sri Lanka “A”, Emerging, and Under-19 came into effect from 1 March 2022

• After Tillakaratne was appointed in June last year, the rest of the national women’s team coaching staff was appointed in September 2021

• The first assignment of the newly-appointed Sri Lanka coaching staff will be the two-Test Bangladesh away series starting on 8 May

• Sri Lanka Emerging team will tour England for a series that starts on 6 May

• Sri Lanka women’s team will tour Pakistan to play a short-format series, starting on 24 May
