Galle Gladiators, the runners-up of the inaugural Lanka Premier League (LPL) last year to Jaffna Stallions, will bounce back to clinch the title this year, feels team owner Nadeem Omar.
Omar is also the owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators.
Omar has brought onboard as Galle Gladiators co-owners Aziz Abdul Rahim Kassamali and Majid Bashir, a media release said on Monday (20).
“The upcoming LPL season is very crucial for us especially after the way we fought back last season.
We had great support from the fans around Galle.
We urge them to extend their support in similar fashion and help us grow,” Omar had said.
