The Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi today (04) stated that the Government is hopeful to vaccinate 63% of the total population of the country by the end of 2021.
She stated that the vaccination drive was underway currently and that the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine is being administered to all health and frontline workers.
She stated that the shortage in vaccines has not been a hindrance to the drive as of now.
