The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) says the new Constitution will not be ready by February as claimed by some Parliamentarians. JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that there is a long process to finalise a new Constitution and that process is not yet complete. He told reporters today that the JVP supports drafting a new Constitution. However he said the draft Constitution has not yet been finalised so it cannot be ready by February as claimed by some political parties.
