Litro Gas today said that it was prepared to cover 20% of market shares of Laugfs Gas.
"Laugfs Gas, which supplies about 20% of Sri Lanka's domestic gas consumption, has decided to suspend gas imports, but Litro Gas has the capability to cover the situation," said Theshara Jayasinghe, Chairman of Litro Gas.
They said that they supply gas to any type of cylinder of any color through Litro Gas Company.
"We already have the required stock of gas. We have the market capability and supply chain to bring in the extra capacity needed in the future," Jayasinghe said.
Therefore, Litro Gas stated that there will not be any shortage of gas in the market and the public should not be unduly apprehensive about it.
