Tamil devotees today celebrated the annual Maha Shivaratri festival at the Shri Ponnambalawaneswaram Temple in Colombo. Maha Shivaratri is celebrated annually in honour of Lord Shiva. It is also referred to the night when Shiva performs the heavenly dance. Photos by Lalith Perera
