The 15-year-old girl whose body was discovered in Nanu-Oya, Nuwara Eliya is suspected by the Police to have committed suicide.
“There were no external injuries found in the body except for a slight graze which happened after the body had fallen in the canal. The death is suspected to be a suicide but we are waiting for the final results of the post-mortem,” Nanu-Oya Police Station OIC Sugath Wijesundara told the Morning.
The body was discovered along a canal located close to a series of line-houses in Nanu-Oya this morning (29).
