Two Sri Lankan cricketers training for the forthcoming series in the West Indies have been tested positive for Covid-19. They have been training with the squad for the upcoming Test, ODI, and T20I series in the West Indies starting next month.

The two players who have tested positive have been reported as Binura Fernando and Chamika Karunaratne.
Binura Fernando, the 25-year-old left-arm medium-fast bowler, has played in two T20Is in 2015 against Pakistan.

Meanwhile Chamika Karunaratne, 24, is the younger brother of Olympic badminton player Niluka Karunaratne and national badminton player Diluka Karunaratne.
Chamika is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played in a single Test for Sri Lanka in 2019 in Australia.
