Daughter of Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Onella Karunanayake appeared before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for questioning today (25). She was ordered to appear before the CID to record a statement over allegations she gave false evidence before the Commission investigating the treasury bond scam. She was summoned to the CID on 6 June as well and her parents are also to be summoned to be questioned over allegations. Ravi Karunanayake was one of the main accused in the scam which took place when he was the Finance Minister.
