BY Buddhika Samaraweera   Parliament has taken steps to remove the personal and official addresses of MPs from the official website of Parliament, on a request made by the MPs. When contacted by The Morning, Parliament Deputy Secretary General and Chief of Staff Kushani Rohanadheera said that the decision to remove the personal and official addresses of the MPs from the said website was based on a request made by several MPs. She also mentioned that the relevant request was received after the tense situations that erupted on 9 May. Earlier, on the official website of Parliament, the phone numbers, official addresses and personal addresses of all the MPs were mentioned in the MPs' information section. However, as of now, only their phone numbers and e-mail addresses are mentioned in the relevant section. Meanwhile, Parliament Secretary General Dhammika Dasanayake said that Parliament is scheduled to meet on 4, 5, and 6 July. The adjournment debate on the “prevailing situation in the country” is to be held on 6 July.
