Prof H D Karunaratne was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the Colombo University today (12) by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. This was made known through a twitter post by the President's Spokesperson Kingsly Rathnayake. Prof. Karunaratne served as the Dean at the Colombo University Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management and Finance, and is a Sri Lankan business economist, academic, author and the Director of Institute of Human Resource Advancement.
