Further to the Pandora revelations which were disclosed three days ago, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this morning (06) directed the Chairman of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) to conduct an immediate inquiry into the transactions of Sri Lankans named in the Pandora Papers.
Presidential Media Spokesperson Kingsly Rathnayaka confirmed the same via tweet, and added that the President requested for the report on the investigation to be completed within a month.
The Pandora Papers revealed the names of Former Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa and her husband Thirukumar Nadesan.
