Raigam Wayamba Salterns records 19.5% turnover growth in FY21/22

Raigam Wayamba Salterns PLC (RWS) announced that its group turnover increased from Rs. 959.6 million to Rs. 1,147 million, recording a growth of 19.5% year-on-year (YoY). At the same time, its Profit After Tax (PAT) grew from Rs. 149.7 million to Rs. 215.6 million, marking an annual growth rate of 44%. As a result of these financial performances, the Earning Per Share (EPS) for the year stood at Rs. 0.76, compared to Rs. 0.53 a year ago.  Under the Raigam Group’s policy of re-investing its earnings in beneficial new ventures, RWC announced the launch of its inaugural product under the brand “Nenaposha”. Nenaposha is manufactured according to a well-balanced formula that uses corn, soybean, green gram, and rice. RWC added that it is not merely a food manufacturing entity, and has a broader scope of business covering the supply chain from the grassroots level upwards to ensure the right quality and quantity of input grains. RWC stated it has already implemented programmes to promote cultivation of required crops under a forward contract basis in the Rajarata area.
