Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne's lawyers have filed a motion against his arrest warrant today.
The motion which was filed before the Colombo Magistrate's Court seeks for the reversal of the arrest warrant issued against him.
The Police was on the lookout for Senaratne as an arrest warrant was issued(24) by the Colombo Additional Magistrate over the ‘white van’ press briefing held on 10 November.
However, when the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) arrived at Senaratne’s residence yesterday(25), he had not been present at the house.
