United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa held crucial talks late this evening. The talks were held in an attempt to reach a consensus on the Presidential candidate of the United National Front. Both Wickremesinghe and Premadasa are determined to be the Presidential candidate of the UNF. Talks to reach a consensus were initially scheduled for Sunday but was postponed for tonight.
