'Skills Sri Lanka' launched by President & PM

"Skills Sri Lanka" programme initiated by the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation, was launched by the President and the Prime Minister today. Speaking at the ceremony held at the BMICH, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said it was the responsibility of the government to secure the lives of youngsters regardless of the exams they may fail. "We will take measures to empower our youths with skills that are upto the international standards to successfully face the world," he said. State Minister Seetha Arambepola presented the first copy of the Skills Sri Lanka newspaper to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
