The Sri Lankan Cricket team led by Captain Dimuth Karunaratne left the country for the ICC World Cup- 2019 in England and Wales, today (07).
The tournament will commence only on 30 May and the first match for the Sri Lankan team will be on 1 June against the squad from New Zealand.
However, the team is set to play two ODI matches against the Scottish side ahead of the World Cup later on in the month.
