Twelve people have been killed in fatal road accidents across the island in the past 24 hours. Police Media Spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 8 of the deaths were due to road accidents yesterday. A 72-year-old woman who was seriously injured in an accident has died.
